It's A Boy...And He's Here!!!

Ok, so I know I said I was going to be deleting this blog...and at some point, I still believe I will.  It just hasn't been high on my priority list.  Yep, Robert James Kearney IV made his appearance on Thursday October 29th at 6:07 PM.  He weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and was 19 and 1/4 inches.  He was 4 weeks premature and had to spend his first two weeks of life in the hospital.  All is well now, and we are both home and thriving.  I just wanted to share the news with all those that may still have this blog in their reader and still care to know this information.  Be blessed!

Something Funny for All The Moms

This is Anita Renfroe singing "MomSense" to the "William Tell Overture", and it is sooooo funny. I saw her at the Women of Faith Conference and I just had to share.

And not to be outdone, there is one for dad's too, called "Dadsense". Here it is for your viewing pleasure.

My Beautiful Blue by Shalene

I met her 2 years and 2 days ago, on the day of her birth. Her name is Syanne Jolie, and loosely translated it means "Beautiful Blue" (cyan is a shade of blue and is how her name is pronounced.) She is my youngest daughter. And one of the beauties of my life. I am writing this post today as a birthday gift to her, though she can't yet read, or work a computer (though she does try.) :) Happy Birthday, my Beautiful Blue!! I love you so much! You are my little lifesaver! You came along at a time when I needed you so much! The Lord blessed me with you, and used you to strengthen my faith when I needed it so badly. He used you to help heal my grief, and to help make me whole again. He used you to help me see what a blessing all of you children are to me. Thank you for being my little lifesaver. You are as sweet as the candy! May the blessings of the Lord be upon you, my little one! I pray for your continued growing in the Lord, that you continue to say your "Amens" (that's what you call your prayer time.) That even though you don't really know what you are doing yet, when you say "Amens" that you continue to do it each day with such a childlike faith, even when you do. I love you baby! And Happy Birthday again! Mommy loves you!!!

And one more picture, because my husband has such a wonderful sense of humor, and thought that it would be appropriate to show you that my Beautiful Blue has another "devilish" side. :)
