Awards and Memes To Catch Up On

While I was away, I was tagged, and awarded a few times, so I'm going to attempt to get caught up. I'll start with the award. I was awarded The Lift Him Up Award by Carol over at The Bible Thumper's Soapbox, and I thank her for it. Normally, I would pass it on, but since I have so much to catch up on, and I've tagged most all the other bloggers I know in one way or another lately, I'm going to pass on the passing it along. I hope you understand. Here is a picture of the award. Thank you so much Carol, I am humbled, by your award, especially since despite the fact that I often write about myself, I do desire above all to "Lift Him Up."

Now for the memes:

Seven of '07
Dan King at BibleDude and/ or Management by God has started this meme, and I found it very interesting. Being a Meme, it is required that I pass this one along. The rules of this meme are simple.

(1) Link back to Dan at management by God and BibleDude.net as the originator of this meme, and to the person that tagged you with it.

(2) Pick one blog for each of the seven categories listed below. It is okay if others have selected the same blog for the same or different reasons. Just pick what your personal favorites are for each of the categories, link to their site, and briefly explain why you selected them.

(3) Pick three other bloggers to pass this on to. It can be people that you’ve selected or not, but they should be three people that you would like to see which sites they select.

The Blog that Most Challenges Me
The Second Coming of Christ- Though Roger really only talks about this on his blog, it has challenged my thinking on the Rapture, and the Tribulation timing. He has willingly and encouragingly explained to me things I didn't understand before. This is why his blog most challenges me.

The Blog that Most Inspires Me
Overflowing Grace- Robyn is a pastor's wife, and strives daily to inspire others. She is cerainly inspiring. She inspires me because everything about her is about lifting God up each and every day, and teaching others how to do it in their daily lives as well.

The Most Creative Blog
Isaiah at Joie De Vivre would have to be my nomination for the most creative. Not necessarily because he says creative things but because if I've counted right, I know of at least 5 times that he has changed the template of his blog. He also uses very interesting images for all of his posts. I don't have any idea how he manages to find them all!

The Most Heartfelt Blog
This one, hands down, goes to Michelle at In the Life of a Child. She never fails to make me laugh or cry, or both. Her faith walk is transparent and authentic. She uses her every day life to tell it like it is, and to glorify the Lord, in every post.

The Blog With The Most Useful Information
Casey at Casey's Critical Thinking would have to get this award. His title says it all. He takes relevant, timely information and gives us his critical take on it. I really appreciate his insight.

The Blog That Interprets the Word the Best
This one I will award to Carol at The Bible Thumper's Soapbox because she uses the Word to explain the Word. She doesn't sugarcoat it in anyway, and pulls no punches. She has challenged my thinking in more than one area as well.

The Blog I Look Most Forward to Reading More of in 2008
This one goes to the Beth Moore- LPM Blog. I recently found out that this one existed, and while I'm not a Beth Moore groupie, I do genuinely enjoy reading her blog, which she shares with her two daughters. They are all just so real, they make you feel like you've known them forever, and like your all good friends. I just really enjoy reading this blog.

Well that's my Seven from '07. I'd like to pass this meme on to Piper from Bliss in Bloom, DM of Heart to Heart, and to Dana of my own church.

God bless all of you, and I look forward to reading more of all of you. It was very difficult for me to narrow the list, so please know that if I could have nominated more than one person, I certainly would have.

The next meme I've been tagged for is seriously long. I don't have time to do it today, so it will have to be another day's post. Sorry Robyn, I tried. This othe meme just already took such a long time. For my readers, if you'd like to know what the next meme is about, please do go check out Robyn's site.

There is no "MORE" to this post.
