Thank you so much Michelle! You lift me up too! That's what cyber friends are for, right? Or any other kind of friend for that matter. You are such a blessing to me.
Now since I don't know what the "rules" are for passing this along, I'll go with however many people I can think of that are worthy of this award, before I am finished with this post. It may be many, it may be a few. If I've left you out, please don't think that I think any less of you, I just have so many blogging buddies, that if I listed them all, I'd be writing all day. As a mother of four and a wife, if I want to remain so, I better not stay on the computer all day. :) With that said, on to the award recipients.
Piper of Bliss in Bloom, for her spunk and desire to glorify God in her life and in her children's lives.
Dana Pellerin, of our very own church, because he just seems to have a way with words. Not always the way I would put it, but anyway. I don't know if he does these award things, but I'm awarding him anyway.
Michael Moore, from Living Water for Those That Thirst, because he has such faith despite so many challenges. He inspires me.
ComfyDenim from Notes From the Laundry Pile, just because she's funny, and she's a mom with a great outlook. Love this blog!
And lastly, but certainly not least, Robyn from Overflowing Grace because she's such a great cyber friend. She emails me just to ask how I'm doing, she lets me use her articles, and is totally selfless. She is an inspiring woman with two little ones, and yet she finds time to lift everyone up that she comes into contact with.
Bless all of you, and congratulations on your ability to "Lift Me Up"!!!
There is no "MORE" to this post.

Sweet girl! You blessed my soul today! But, it's not the first time. What you do is highly impactful, please know that. You are inspiring and a tremendous blessing to me! I'm so glad you came to the buzz! I really feel like you showed up at exactly the right time...I was stricken with a healthy dose of conviction, not in a bad way...inspirationally!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this award, and thank you for lighting my blog with the love of a Godly woman!
xo
Piper
Congratulations on another award Shalene, you do deserve it.
ReplyDeleteI have commented many times on your blog and you have visited mine as often. The reason for the anonymous comment is that I didn’t want you upset at me for asking this question. Why didn’t you nominate your husband? I have been to his blog several times, and miss it by the way, and all he seems to want to do is lift you up.
I’m sorry if I am stepping over the “cyber line” here, I just had to ask. I won’t be surprised, or offended, if you delete this either.
Hi Piper, thanks for the comments! I am blessed by your presence as well.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, unfortunately, knowing that I've commented on your blog many times doesn't narrow the field. :) As for not nominating my husband's blog: Well I would if he still had one. He deleted his blog. You are absolutely right, in that all he wants to do is lift me up. So anyway, I most certainly would have nominated his blog, if he still had one. Thanks for asking. Blessings to you!
Oh and by the way, Anonymous, I suspect you are actually Isaiah. (Did you know you can find that information out by using the SiteMeter that we both have?) Anyway, my point in letting you know that I am pretty sure who you are, is that I suspected as much, when you didn't want to upset me over the fact that you asked me something. I am rarely offended by anything people say, and you did not upset me in any way. Even if you are not Isaiah. :) Blessings to you, no matter who you are.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, girl. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteYou're so kind to add me to this list.. I'm humbled. Very. Especially to think that I lift anyone up -- and that you actually LIKE my blog. *LOL*
Thank you again!!!
PS - I really like the colors here...
Shalene,
ReplyDeleteThank you! Your blog was one of the very first ones I started reading when I became a blogger myself just a couple of months ago. I remember reading the name of your blog and thinking, "wannabe?, It seems to me like she's already there, and then some"
That very thought has proved to be true time and time again. You are an absolute blessing to me.
I am truly honored that you thought of me among all the other great blogs out there. I guess what I am most thankful for is the fact that you took the time to know a little bit about me, as you mentioned in your comment. You would not know about my challenges had you not. You are a woman that truly cares.
I may start calling you the Proverbs 32 Woman 'cause you're all of Proverbs 31 and a bag of chips!
Thanks Proverb32, you're the best!
Michael, How sweet you are!! What a nice thing to say. I guess I can be happy with being called a Proverbs 32 Woman. :) (I had to check and make sure there wasn't actually a Proverbs 32, and that it didn't say something bad.) :) Blessings, and you truly deserve it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shalene. I'm thrilled to hear my ramblings are just being read, much less lifting anyone up.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you lift me up! You've been through so much here recently are still such a great witness of His mercy and grace. That's truly uplifting!
Aww, shucks! Robyn. You're such a sweetie. It's not just your blog that lifts me up, but your amazing ability to know just when this "cyber" friend needs to know someone is out there that cares. Blessings to you my friend, and I hope you have a great week too!
ReplyDeletehiya Shalene:
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, you deserve all the awards given!
Psst! Anonymous isn't me. He or she does write like me a little, eh, lol! I didn't write that and couldn't possibly have as I was out in the middle of some jungle on war maneuvers that day.
I won't ask that, but this: what happened to Bobby's blog? It seems to be down... :(
God bless, and Shalom Aleichem!
Isaiah, Psst! Did you read the other comments? My answer to anonymous is the same answer to you. :) Bobby deleted his blog. He decided that that was not something he was called to do. He wanted to share it something I was doing, but it began to get in the way of what he did feel called to do. I respect his decision, though I do miss his regular pick me ups that he would put up for me there. Oh well, there just as good in person. Blessings and Shalom.
ReplyDeleteWow, a major award? Thanks hon! And thanks for your kind words. I hope I never say anything to make you sorry for linking to me! HA!
ReplyDeleteDana, You are certainly welcome! I've read pretty much all your blog posts, and I can't say that I've objected to any of them. :) I don't think I could ever be sorry for linking to you. Though you do sometimes use language I wouldn't use, I know you to be full of the Lord, and so love to read all that you have to say. Blessings to you brother, and I'm glad you found your award! I tried to let you know on your blog, but although I signed up for a wordpress account, just so that I could leave a comment, it wouldn't let me. Perhaps you can look into that? I guess I could have sent you an email through the My Clovis Hills, but I just now thought of that. :) I'm a little slow that way. :) Here's praying you have a blessed holiday! Blessings to you and your family!
